A week back Lena and I took a much-needed break from work and flew to Cape Cod, Massachusetts to say 'hello' to my father's side of the family. It was a great trip. We went on a whale watch, sat on the beach, sailed in the clear fresh-water lake next to my aunt's house and ate fresh lobster. The beaches were somewhat shocking to Lena, who comes from the clear, warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The ocean water at Cape Cod stays in the mid-fifties all summer long. The sand was warm, however, and the bay-side of the cape was more agreeable.
