Alright, folk, here it is: My favorites from the Shah/Patel wedding. Over the course of three days, Lena and I compiled over 30 gigs of photos, which I narrowed to just over 1100 images and then from that 115 that are my absolute favorites. Not all of those are here, but you'll find a good sampling. Many of thm are the very "artsy" images that characterize my style. I've left out a lot of the meat-n-potatoes shots such as the hundreds of grip-n-grins that characterize any human social gathering.

The images are in a loose order. Those of you who are familiar with Hindu weddings will recognize the Barat, for example. There are also some artful portraits of Tina and Parimal utilizing the structure of the Sheraton in downtown Atlanta. On that note, kudos to the Sheraton staff and personnel. They were friendly, most helpful and extremely professional.

On that same note, kudos to the guests and family gathered to celebrate the event. I've shot a lot of weddings, and I've never met a group of people as absolutely polite and respectful in all my career. No one treated me like I was their slave, no one disrespected me by calling me 'paparazzi,' and no one got exasperated when my gear needed tweaking. If people needed a photo taken, they were polite when they asked and patient and grateful when I took it. Tina and Parimal and their wedding party went out of their way to make sure Lena and I were fed first during lunch and dinner. They provided us with breakfast and water, too. During a 19-hour workday, such good manners make a big difference.

I've been preparing their 1100 proofs for the better part of two days and I am almost done. Next: Upload images to my website so my potential clients can know without the shadow of a doubt that Lena and I are the right shooters for their next event. Enjoy the images!
