Below are my favorite photos from Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday night Tina and Parimal had their Mendhi, during which henna is applied to Tina and her friends. The Girba is a dance during which the participants celebrate the marriage by dancing in circles around a statue of Ganesh, the Hindu god of happiness and prosperity. Both events were amazing, and Lena and I took some great photos. Check it out.
